About the Artist
Rosy Lidia Davis spawned in the alligator swamps of North Florida, attending various art schools for weirdos as a Creative Writing major. After a healthy diet of poetry and short fiction, starvation led her to North Mississippi. As a wildlife biology major Rosy has become accustomed to living from paycheck-to-paycheck. In between trail cam monitoring research and working as an independent bookseller she carves linoleum blocks for printmaking, cuts millions of scraps of paper for collaging, writes poetry, paints, needleworks, and does freelance graphic design. As if addicted to juggling a full plate, Rosy also creates and organizes Cicadian Rhythm Zine, a poetry zine for Mississippi authors.
